Decent pub to watch West Ham - Loughton, Buckhurst Hill ..

I've been round this way about six months now - can anyone recommend somewhere likely to have a decent atmosphere for the semi? Tried a few places but haven't found a good football pub yet.

Three Colts if you want to watch the game with oil slicked hair cut, skinny jeans, turkey teeth types.
or the Railway Bell S Woodford for a better experience (right next to the tube station.

Three colts is a lovely pub it's owned a run by Adam Brooks. Nice fella, become a bit of a name on twitter mainly due to lockdown and the furlough scheme which he had problems with which has lead to appearances on GB news. I think he used to own the club 195 where all the footballers used to meet all the sloshers in Essex.

The Railway shut down years ago.

The Railway Bell in Theydon is always a West Ham Pub. It's a Decent pub too.
He's doing a ticket system for Thursday, you could give the landlord a try

The Carps' doesn't do football anymore!!
Well I never, I had heard that it had done the impossible and became even worse than it had ever been.
If you're close to the carps' then the Hollybush is you're best bet.
It'll be fucking rammed for Thursday though

Oh dear - haven't tried the gunmakers yet. The Carpenters is very close, thought it would be a good football pub. But seems to only show BBC/ITV games these days.

Gunmakers Arms - Chester Road, Loughton, a bit of a locals pub though
Monkhams Inn, Buckhurst Way, Buckhurst Hill, a bit of a shithole.......
Carpenters Arms, Forest Road, Loughton, a fucking complete shithole, they still allow smoking.

Cheers for responses. Hollybush is my usual place, ok,but nothing to get excited about for football. Nice burgers though. wise.
